Job Applications
When you apply for a position or submit a general application, we collect:
- Name, email address, phone number, city, and state
- The position you are applying for
- Whether you are legally authorized to work in the United States
- Employment history, such as your most recent employer, job title, employment dates, and responsibilities
- Certifications, licenses, and training
- Your availability for travel, overtime, outdoor work, and emergency response
- Documents you upload, such as your résumé, cover letter, and copies of certifications or licenses
- Any other information you choose to include in your answers
Please do not include sensitive information that we have not asked for, such as your Social Security number, date of birth, or health information, in your application or uploaded documents.
Information Collected With Form Submissions
When you submit a form, we also record your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, the page the form was submitted from, and the date and time. We use this information to prevent spam and fraud and to keep a record of the submission.
Automatically Collected Information
Like most websites, our hosting provider’s servers automatically log technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. These logs are used to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website.

Website Hosting (GoDaddy)

Email Delivery (Microsoft 365)
Form submissions are sent to our staff by email through Microsoft 365. Microsoft Privacy Statement.
Spam Protection (Cloudflare Turnstile)
Our contact and job application forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to confirm that submissions come from a person rather than a bot. Turnstile processes information such as your IP address and browser characteristics to perform this check. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
We use Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, Google may still receive limited information that does not use cookies, such as the page you visited and basic browser information, which Google uses only for aggregate measurement. Google Maps
Our Contact and Projects pages display interactive Google Maps. When these maps load, your browser connects to Google, which receives your IP address and browser information. Google Privacy Policy.
06. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy:
- Inquiries: as long as needed to respond and to keep reasonable records of our communications with you.
- Job applications: at least four years after we receive them, as required by California employment record-keeping rules, and longer if needed for a legal claim. If you are hired, your application becomes part of your employment records.
- Technical information recorded with a form: kept together with the submission it belongs to.
- Server logs and analytics data: kept according to the retention settings of our hosting provider and Google Analytics.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identifiable.
07. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Our website uses encrypted (HTTPS) connections, uploaded application documents are stored in a protected location that cannot be accessed directly from the web, and access to submissions is limited to authorized staff. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we have collected about you, including the categories, sources, purposes, and the categories of third parties we disclose it to
- Delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions (for example, records we must keep under employment law)
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, and we treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a valid opt-out request.
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information. We use sensitive information only for purposes permitted by law, such as confirming work authorization.

We will need to verify your identity before fulfilling access, deletion, or correction requests, and we will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days for California residents). You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority and verify your identity directly.
If you are located outside the United States, you may have similar rights under your local law, including the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.
09. California Notice at Collection for Job Applicants
If you are a California resident applying for a job with us, this notice describes the personal information we collect through our application form:
- Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, phone number, city, and state
- Professional and employment information: work history, job titles, responsibilities, availability, and the position you are applying for
- Education, certification, and licensing information: certifications, licenses, training, and the documents you upload
- Sensitive personal information: whether you are legally authorized to work in the United States, used only to determine eligibility for employment
- Internet and technical information: IP address and browser information recorded with your submission
We use this information to evaluate your application, communicate with you, comply with legal obligations, and protect our website against fraud. We do not sell or share applicant information. 10. Children’s Privacy
Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Job applicants must meet the minimum legal age for the position they apply for. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our website links to websites we do not operate, such as our social media pages on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
